SalonOS for spas

For spas

Spa booking software built around your therapists

SalonOS is spa booking software for day spas and spa chains in India. Guests book massages, rituals and packages online against each therapist’s actual shifts, while the front desk books callers into the same calendar, sells prepaid series and closes every visit with a GST bill. One dashboard covers every branch, and the free plan runs one spa without a time limit.

The day it fixes

What changes at your spa

  • A 90-minute ritual gets booked into a 60-minute gap.

Each treatment carries its true length, and a buffer set per branch keeps changeover time between guests. A slot appears only when the therapist is free for the whole treatment and the buffer after it.

  • Guests ask for the same therapist as last time.

Guests can choose a therapist by name when they book online. At the desk, a guest’s past visits show who treated them, so a returning regular is booked with the right person.

  • Prepaid packages live in a notebook behind the desk.

Sell five aromatherapy massages as a series at the counter, record whether the guest paid by cash, UPI or card, and SalonOS keeps count of sessions left and the expiry date. The guest books each session from their account with nothing more to pay.

  • Therapists learn about a booking when they walk in.

A new booking reaches the assigned therapist as a push notification on their phone, and each therapist gets a morning email listing the day’s guests.

Features

Built for spas

  • Therapist calendars

Recurring weekly shifts per branch, leave requested and approved in the app, and branch holidays. The online calendar never offers a therapist who is off.

  • A treatment menu in spa terms

List treatments under Massage Therapy, Spa & Wellness Rituals, Body Care and Ayurveda. Offer a 60- and a 90-minute version of one massage as variants, each priced on its own.

  • Buffer time between guests

Set a buffer per branch so room changeover is planned into the calendar instead of squeezed out of the next treatment. Slot intervals of 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes are set per branch too.

  • Several treatments, one visit

A guest can book a body scrub followed by a massage in one booking, with a different qualified therapist for each treatment.

  • Spa packages

Put a scrub, wrap and massage together at a price below their total. Enter the discount you are comfortable with and SalonOS suggests a price. A package appears only at branches with a therapist for every treatment in it.

  • Prepaid series in place of punch cards

Sell a fixed number of visits valid for as many days as you choose. Guests are reminded when their next session is due and again 30 and 7 days before their visits expire.

  • GST bills with covered sessions

Checkout prints a numbered GST bill. A visit paid from a series shows as covered, and a discount comes off before tax.

  • Discretion for your therapists

Guests see the title Therapist and a first name. Full names, phone numbers and staff photos stay off guest-facing pages.

  • Found by guests nearby

Every branch gets a page with photos, a map, opening hours and treatments, and is listed on location pages such as spas in Bengaluru.

  • Deposits on long treatments

Ask guests for a deposit when they book online, paid into your own Razorpay account with no commission to SalonOS, and set refund rules that depend on how much notice they give before cancelling.

How it works

Three steps to your first booking

  1. Sign up as a spa

Name your spa, confirm your email with a six-digit code and choose Spa as your kind of business. Treatment categories for spas are ready when you arrive.

  2. Add therapists, treatments and packages

Add each therapist and the treatments they are trained for, set their shifts, then build packages and series from your menu.

  3. Open online booking

Share your spa’s booking page with guests. Every booking lands on the therapist’s calendar, and your desk can add phone bookings beside it.

Pricing

Start free, pay when it earns

The free plan runs one branch with a real booking page and real bookings. It is not a trial that expires, and it needs no card. Paid plans add branches and staff, and are priced for your region on the pricing page.

FAQ

Questions spas ask

Does SalonOS schedule treatment rooms?
Not as a separate resource: availability comes from your therapists’ shifts and bookings. A buffer time per branch gives each room time to be turned around between guests.
Can I sell spa memberships?
Not as a monthly subscription; you can sell a series instead, a set number of visits paid once at your counter and valid for as long as you choose.
Can guests choose their therapist?
Guests pick a therapist by name or let SalonOS assign one, and only therapists qualified for that treatment at that branch are offered.
How do spa packages work in SalonOS?
A package is several treatments sold together at one price below their total and booked in a single visit, with a suggested price from the discount you choose.
Is SalonOS free for one spa?
The free plan covers one spa with online booking, therapist calendars, counter billing and email reminders, and it is not a trial. More branches and therapists need a paid plan.
Can I offer 60- and 90-minute versions of a massage?
Add them as variants of one massage, each with its own extra time and price, and guests pick the length when they book.
What do therapists see on their phones?
Therapists see their own appointments and leave requests, and get a push notification for each new booking assigned to them.
Does it handle GST on spa bills?
Spa bills show CGST and SGST with your GSTIN, prices can include tax or have it added, and each branch numbers its own bills.
Can I run spas in two different states?
Each branch keeps its own address, hours, therapists and, where it is registered separately, its own GSTIN, while the owner sees every branch from one dashboard.
Can I take a deposit when guests book online?
On paid plans you can set a deposit as a percentage or a flat amount, with an optional minimum, and decide what a guest gets back if they cancel. Deposits go into your own Razorpay account and settle to your bank; SalonOS takes no commission.
