Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SalonOS platform operated by SalonOS (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • “Platform” means the SalonOS web application, APIs, and related services.
  • “Organization” means a salon chain or business entity registered on the platform.
  • “Customer” means an end user who books appointments or uses the virtual try-on feature.
  • “Admin” means a user with administrative access to an Organization's settings and data.
  • “Content” means text, images, data, and other materials uploaded to or generated by the platform.

2. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 16 years of age to use the platform.
  • One person may not maintain multiple accounts for the same purpose.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscription Plans & Billing

  • SalonOS offers tiered subscription plans (Free, Starter, Growth) with different feature sets and limits.
  • Plan limits (branches, staff, services) are enforced automatically. Exceeding limits requires an upgrade.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly. Prices are listed on our pricing page.
  • We may offer trial periods. At the end of a trial, the subscription status will be updated and access may be restricted if no paid plan is selected.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' written notice. Existing subscriptions are honored until the end of the current billing period.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
  • Upload content that is harmful, offensive, defamatory, or infringes on third-party rights.
  • Attempt to access data belonging to other organizations on the platform.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure, security, or other users' access.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the platform without prior written consent.
  • Resell or redistribute access to the platform without authorization.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, service descriptions, business data). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display it as necessary to provide the platform services — including sending photos to AI processing providers for the virtual try-on feature.

5.2 Our Content

The SalonOS platform, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by SalonOS and protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for its intended purpose.

5.3 AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI features (themes, try-on transformations) is provided for your use within the platform. We make no guarantees about the uniqueness or exclusivity of AI-generated outputs.

6. AI Virtual Try-On

  • The virtual try-on feature uses third-party AI services to process images. By using this feature, you consent to your photos being sent to these providers for processing.
  • AI results are approximate representations and may not exactly match the final salon result.
  • We are not liable for decisions made based on AI try-on results.
  • Daily usage limits may apply based on your organization's subscription plan.

7. Booking & Salon Services

  • SalonOS facilitates bookings between customers and salon chains. We are not a party to the salon service agreement between customers and salons.
  • Salons are responsible for fulfilling booked services and resolving disputes with their customers.
  • We are not liable for the quality, safety, or outcome of salon services booked through the platform.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. Organization administrators are responsible for ensuring their use of customer data through the platform complies with applicable privacy laws in their jurisdiction.

9. Availability & Warranties

  • We target 99.5% platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not warrant that AI features will produce accurate, complete, or satisfactory results.
  • We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability, with reasonable advance notice when possible.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SalonOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

  • You may close your account at any time by contacting support.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practical.
  • Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases. We may retain data as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Organizations may request a data export before account closure.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting updated Terms with a new date. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
